Easter

It was such a beautiful Easter weekend, the pups went out for a picnic!

Even the grass was an adventure for them!

Climbing Out!

The pups have gotten big enough and have figured out how to climb out of their box. We have to keep the door on the front of the box to keep them in.  Honey still gets in with them twice a day to feeding.

Puppies on the move!

It is hard to keep the paper straight in the box and their collars on. This group is a playful bunch and they are constantly on the move!

Lunch Time!

Honey's little pups are growing so fast! They have moved up to the bigger food bowl and we are not grinding the food as much.

Play Time!

The Little Ones love when they get out of the box to play! They get to explore the big house, meet new friends and chew on new things!

They have found the big dogs water bowl!

Sleep!

Priceless Poses!

Eat & Sleep!

All of the puppies are good little eaters, but they can't seem to move away from the bowl before the fall fast asleep!

Mommy is checking on me!

The Pups are at a playful noisy stage. Honey makes her rounds checking in on them to make sure they are OK!

Their favorite things to do is wrestle and mess up the paper in the box.

First Puppy Food!

The pups did great eating ground puppy food! They start between 2 and 3 weeks when their teeth start to come in. As soon as their tummies are full they go right to sleep.

Week one

The first week has been a blur! Honey is a great mom and even though she is exhausted she has not left her puppies. We are bringing her food and water because it seems as though she is not even getting out of the whelping box to care for herself. It appears that this litter of pups will have a good set of lungs because already they are noisy when they want food!

March 21,2014

Honey's puppies were born March 21 , 2014. The same day Nellies puppies left Honey's arrived. The first part of 2014 has been puppy central at our house! Puppies are just like children  - It's just good that they are so cute - you just can't stay mad no matter what they do OR chew up! lol

Honey had 3 black and 3 yellow pups, all healthy and eating well.

Honey's Pregnancey:

We were helping to whelp a liter of puppies for a friend while Honey was expecting.  She already has a great mothering instinct and with her hormones raging she was very eager to help Nellie the visiting mommy with her puppies!

This is Honey's ultrasound.
